IMPORTANT!
All tours have limited number of participants. Registration will be made according to the "̏first come (tour registration and tour fee paid), first served" principle, but no later than July 15th, 2009. The Tour Form will be available soon.
Please note that the prices shown below are estimated for a minimum group of 25 persons (for one-day tours) and 18 persons (for Danube Delta cruise). In case the minimum number of participants will not be gathered, the tours may be cancelled and the amount paid reimbursed.
 
 
Tour 1: Danube Delta* Tour (August 22nd - 27th, 2009)
* The number of participants to this cruise is limited to18 persons, the maximum number of passengers a floating hotel can accommodate (in 9 double rooms). 
 
Day 1: The transfer from Sinaia to Tulcea will be made by (shuttle) bus, with a stop for coffee or tea. In the evening, embarkment on the 4* floating hotel (capacity: 18 persons in 9 cabins with 2 beds) and welcome dinner in Tulcea.
Day 2: Cruise on a smaller boat on the following route: Channel 36 - Sontea - Nebunu Lake - Furtuna Lake. In Maliuc, the group will rejoin the floating hotel which will be cruising on the Sulina Channel and will be waiting the group there.During lunch, the cruise on the floating hotel will continue to Crisan, Old Danube, Magearu. On this route, passengers will be able to contemplate many birds and animals specific to the Danube Delta, as well as unique landscapes.
Day 3: After breakfast, the passengers will leave on a smaller boat to Letea, on a channel full of water lilies and many other water plants, in order to visit the Letea village and forest (an area strictly protected of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reservation, unique by its specific flora and fauna). By lunch time, passengers will be back on the boat and head for Crisan, Mila 23, Lopatna, where the group will spend the night on a beautiful lake.
Day 4: On this day, the group will visit the Mila 23 fishermen village and the cruise will continue on the route Sontea Channel - Olguta Channel. The group will spend the night on the Furtuna Lake.
Day 5: On this day, the group will explore the area and after lunch the cruise will continue following the route Baclanesti Lake - Nebunu Lake (strictly protected area) - Sireasa - Channel 36 - Tulcea, where gala dinner will be served.
Day 6: After breakfast, the group will debark and head for Bucharest in shuttle bus, with a stop for coffee. The arrival in Bucharest will be around 14.00 o'clock.

Tour 2: Balea Lake Tour (August 19th, 2009)
(Sinaia - Balea Lake - Vidraru - Curtea de Arges - Sinaia)
Departure from Sinaia around 08.30 o’clock to Balea Lake - a glacial lake located in the Fagaras Mountains. The road to Balea Lake, called Transfagarasan, is  the highest located road in Romania (at an altitude of about 1900 m) and is open to traffic only 3-4 months each year.
After a short walk on the border of the lake, the tour will continue on the mountains’ Southern versant to the Vidraru lake and dam. Vidraru is a barrier lake and dates back to March1966, at its inauguration date being the 5th in Europe and the 9th in the whole world among similar constructions. 
The tour will continue to Curtea de Arges. On the road to Curtea de Arges the group will be able to see the Poienari Castle, the real castle of Vlad Tepes (the Empailor).
In Curtea de Arges the group will visit the Curtea de Arges Monastery, built in the XVIth century.
Lunch will be served in a restaurant in Curtea de Arges.
Return to Sinaia in the evening.

Tour 3: Lakes Tour (August 19th, 2009)
(Sinaia - Tusnad - Red Lake - Bicaz Gorges - Balvanyos - Sinaia)
Early morning departure from Sinaia. The first stop will be at the balneal resort of Tusnad where the group will be able to visit the thermal springs.
The tour will continue to Lacul Rosu (Red Lake), a natural dam lake situated at an altitude of 980 m, near to Cheile Bicazului (Bicaz Gorges). The name of “Lacul Rosu” (Red Lake) comes from the reddish alluvia deposited in the lake by its main tributary (Paraul Rosu - Red River).
Bicaz Gorges, the next stop, with a 5 km length, offer one of the most spectacular scenery in Romania.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
On the way back to Sinaia the group will pass through the Balvanyos resort, situated in a beautiful natural area.

Tour 4: Prahova’s Valley Tour (August 19th, 2009)
(Sinaia - Prejmer - Brasov - Azuga - Sinaia)
Departure from Sinaia around 08.30 - 09.00. The group will visit the Fortified Church of Prejmer, the largest of its kind in Europe and a symbol of the local inhabitants upon Southern Transylvania. 
The group will continue the tour with exploring Brasov’s historical center, a city with a history of almost 800 years and one of the most important medieval cities in Transylvania. Nowadays, given the numerous touristic and historic objectives, Brasov has become the most important touristic center in Romania. The tour will include objectives like Piata Sfatului (Council Square), Biserica Neagra (Black Church), Bastionul Tesatorilor (Weavers’ Bastion), Poarta Ecaterinei (Ecaterina’s Gate), Turnul Alb (White Tower), Catedrala Sfantul Nicolae (Saint Nicholas Cathedral) and Muzeul Primei Scoli Romanesti (First Romanian School’s Museum).
The tour will end with a visit to the Azuga Wine Cellar, wine tasting and lunch.

Tour 5: Sighisoara Medieval Citadel Tour (August 19th, 2009)
(Sinaia - Biertan - Sighisoara - Sinaia)
Morning departure around 08.30o’clock from Sinaia to Sighisoara. The first objective will be the Fortified Churchof Biertan, a local specific Church (second in Europe in size); the Church was built in the XVth century and it is currently included in the UNESCO Heritage.
The tour will continue to Sighisoara, a medieval citadel dating back to the XIIIth century and one of the few still inhabited medieval citadels in Europe. The entire citadel is part of the UNESCO Heritage.
Lunch will be served in a restaurant in Sighisoara (Romanian and local specific food).
Return to Sinaia in the evening.

Tour 6: Sibiu Tour (August 19th, 2009)
(Sinaia - Sibiu - Ocna Sibiului - Sinaia)
Morning departure around 08.30o’clock from Sinaia to Sibiu, where the group will visit the historical center. Main objectives: Piata Mare (Big Square), Piata Mica (Small Sqaure), Palatul Bruckental (Bruckental Palace), Biserica Evanghelica (Evangelic Church), Turnul Sfatului (Council Tower), Podul Mincinosilor (Liars’ Bridge), the medieval defense walls and towers.
Lunch will be served in a specific Romanian restaurant from Sibiu’s historical center. In the afternoon the group can either visit Dumbrava Sibiului (Sibiu’s Grove) and the Astra Museum (a travel in time to discover the village world and Transylvania’s traditions) or visit Ocnele Sibiului (Sibiu’s Salina).
Return to Sinaia in the evening.

Tour 7: Sambata (Saturday) Tour (August 19th, 2009)
(Sinaia - Fagaras - Sambata - Sinaia)
Morning departure from Sinaia around 08.30 to Sambata (Saturday) town. The first stop will be in Fagaras, for a short visit to the local fortress.
In Sambata,the group will visit a famous stud, home of the horse breed named “Lipitan” (the oldest modern breed in Europe, with a history of over 400 years), with a visit to the first caballine cemetery in Romania. The group will also have the opportunity to attend an equestrian show including a horses and carriages presentation, manege, groups of horsemen, Spanish manege, Western manege etc.
Another important objective in Sambata is Brancoveanu Monastery, an architectural masterpiece. The Monastery’s Museum includes numerous antique books collections, images, religious objects, numismatics and medals etc.

Tour 8: Zarnesti Tour (August 19th, 2009)
(Sinaia - Gura Raului - Prapastiile Zarnestilor - Sinaia)
This tour is specially created for those participants who want to enjoy a few hours walk in the middle of the nature.
Morning departure from Sinaia to Zarnesti where the Piatra Craiului National Park is located. From the Gura Raului chalet the group may walk (easy path) to the “Prapastiile Zarnestilor” Gorges.
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant or in a restaurant in Bran (10 km from Zarnesti).
Return to Sinaia in the evening.
